Excerpt from Chapter 1:
The problem is gradually worsening and you are beginning to panic. The stylist finally admits that your hair is thinner. He says you should take vitamins. You think that stress is probably the cause, but your life is not going to get easier any time soon. You are now afraid that you are going to go bald. Should you start looking into hairpieces? You begin to wash your hair less often, but it seems to look even worse with less shampooing. You are having nightmares of people staring at your balding head. Anxiety attacks happen sometimes when you see other women with noticeable hair loss. Why are there suddenly so many of them?
The time has come to take serious action. You do an internet search on hair loss in women. The search turns up a bewildering variety of products and services. How do you know what to believe and what works and what doesn’t? Even interviews with medical experts give conflicting opinions about what is helpful and what is not. You don’t want to waste your time on bogus nostrums, but you also don’t want to endanger your health with powerful medications. Also, you don’t really want a hair transplant, right?
Okay, so let’s work together and figure out how to move forward without making too many missteps. Your hair is depending on US!
