Return Policy
Returns
At Lock & Mane, we want you to be completely satisfied with your shopping experience. If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied, we will gladly accept the return of any product purchased at Lock & Mane, as long as we receive it within 30 days of the original purchase date. Certain items are returnable for store credit only. See below for details.
Refund or Credit
Opened or used products, sale items, items purchased using a discount or "coupon" code, accessories, and books are returnable within the 30-day period for online store credit only. The cost of shipping will not be credited.
Other than those items mentioned above, unopened and unused products received by Lock & Mane within the 30-day period will be issued a refund to the credit card used to make the purchase. The cost of shipping will not be refunded.
Products received by Lock & Mane after the 30-day period will, at the sole discretion of Lock & Mane, receive no refund at all or will receive an online store credit (subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee on the full price of the order).
Online store credits cannot be exchanged for cash.
How to Return an Item
The instructions to return an item are as follows:
- E-mail returns@lockandmane.com with your name, address, and the reason for your return.
- Mail the item back to us. Make sure to include the original invoice along with the return shipment. Without it, we will not be able to process your return.

To return an item using UPS, DHL, or FedEx, contact Customer Care for the applicable return address.
Please note that ground shipping is required for all products containing alcohol and aerosols. As by United States law, fragrances and aerosols cannot be shipped by air.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless we have made a shipping error). Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping an item back to Lock & Mane.
Exchanges
Please note that we do not offer exchanges for returned products at this time, but we will honor manufacturer warranties in certain circumstances. Please e-mail Customer Care for further information.
Processing Time
It may take up to 30 days after we receive a returned item to process a return. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been completed. Please note that your financial institution will likely take approximately 7 business days to reflect a refund transaction. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse service to any customer abusing our return policy.
