If you know our dear friend Lizzie Grubman than you know that her new hue is essentially brunette for the long time uber-blonde. We’ve known Lizzie for years and we’ve always loved the blonde locks on her, but that’s because we didn’t know any better.
She recently met with the hair gods over at Pierre Michel in NYC for this trim and darkening. The color was done by Ludovic Audesson and the cut was done by Chris Brescia and we have to say BRAVO to them!
Gorg cut. Gorg color. Gorg lady!!
Check out this awesomely bad blonde Jheri curled mullet on a dude on New York’s F train!! (It seems like we always find the most interesting Mane on Main shots on the subway, doesn’t it?).

Many thanks to Eliza who sent in this absolutely faboosh Mane on Main pic from Chicago this weekend. First off, multi-tasking is great. We at L&M have been known to draft blog posts and enjoy happy hour simultaneously many an evening (it’s all making sense now, isn’t it?) And who hasn’t applied mascara while waiting for hot rollers to cool in their locks?
Then there’s this unfortunate soul who opted to hop in her convertible with her rollers still in her hair and run errands. Sigh. No no no. Maybe she has defective rollers that take too long to cool? May we make some recommendations, crazy roller lady? Please?

We’re just a little obsessed with gossip blogger Micah Jesse. Not only does he have the hottest and freshest celebrity site on the scene today (and the nicest!) but he is also always sporting a kick ass man-mane. Micah just made the switch back to platinum blonde and we are giving it two ponytails up, girlfriend.
He got his hair did at nuBest Salon & Spa in Manhasset, NY. Jamie cut the hair and Christian did the color.
Micah originally got the idea to go blonde by hair genius Ricardo Rojas, who helped him achieve “blonde ambition” the first time a few months back.
“I told him I didn’t like my hair…he said, ‘Come in tomorrow, we will make you platinum — like Jean-Paul Gaultier!’ because I have dark facial features,” Micah told us.
