There was a bad man-mane trifecta last week on the red carpet. Why oh why? These guys are so handsome yet they insist on ruining their sexy looks with a bad ‘do. Guys, please note the importance of a good hair day in terms of sex appeal. The hair gods giveth yet taketh away.
At the Calvin Klein event in Los Angeles, Twilight star Kellan Lutz rocked the latest bad hairstyle we like to call ”the Rihanna” (i.e., blonde Fraggle curls atop one’s head). See our blog post on this trend from a few weeks ago for the gory details. We prefer shorter, straighter locks on Kellan. This is a little too 90’s boy-band for us. 
Perhaps he should have slicked it back with some light pomade a la Don Draper? Just a thought.
Also at CK, Jared Leto did his best Edward Cullen hair impersonation. Sigh. And don’t get us started on the skinny blue scarf around his neck. It is the stuff of nightmares. Way to permanently ruin our Jordan Catalano fantasy, Jared.
Then there was Jonathan Rhys Meyers at the From Paris With Love premiere in New York. The Tudors hottie donned stiff, structured locks with what appears to be combed-over gelled bangs. Again, we ask: why, Jonathan, why?
Is there something in the water? We understand that man-grooming can generally be confusing for most guys, but remember not to overdo it with the product. You don’t want a high bouffant like Jared, curly Q’s like Kellan or overly-gelled bangs like Jonathan. Be selective when it comes to product and use it sparingly!
